The MetodoRUS Method

MetodoRUS turns learning Russian into a clear and gradual process. Learners begin with simple words, use them in expressions and sentences, and then gradually progress to dialogue and independent conversation.

How the method works

Each new concept is explained simply and then applied in expressions, sentences, and real communication situations. Learners are taught to use the language, not merely to memorise rules.

Learning the alphabet

The Cyrillic alphabet is introduced step by step by connecting letters with sounds and through reading exercises. The emphasis is placed on quickly recognising letters and developing correct pronunciation.

International vocabulary

Learning also begins with words that resemble terms from other languages. In this way, learners discover that they already recognise many Russian words and gain confidence more quickly.

Grammar explained simply

Grammar rules are presented logically through clear examples and easy-to-understand comparisons. New concepts are introduced gradually, without unnecessary explanations or complicated formulas.

Learning through context

Words are not learned in isolation, but through expressions, dialogues, and real-life situations such as introductions, family, travel, shopping, work, and everyday conversation.

Exercises and revision

Each stage includes exercises for practice, assessment, and revision. Previously learned vocabulary and structures are reviewed regularly in order to consolidate them.

The learner’s path

  1. Learn a word and understand its meaning.
  2. Use the word in an expression.
  3. Build a sentence.
  4. Use the sentence in a dialogue.
  5. Gradually reach independent conversation.
